(Gpr1) Survey Technician – Underground Utility / GPR Surveys
We are currently looking for a Survey Technician with a passion for Underground Utility / GPR Surveying to join our team.

Key Job Purpose
To assist with the completion of utility surveys both on site & in the office as delegated to you by your line manager. You will be able to carry out those works to Warner Surveys Utility Mapping Ltd standards & procedures for surveying, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance & Environmental policies.
No previous experience is necessary as full in-depth training will be provided.
The willingness to work outside in all conditions and nationwide with periods away from home is essential.
The ability to attain Security Clearance for Government sensitive sites would be an advantage.
Utility surveys are carried out using electromagnetic and ground penetrating radar geophysical methods to create detailed amps of the below ground infrastructure which is vital to any development project. The work is physically demanding but also very technology based with a mix of site and office working.
All located detail from site is recorded using GNSS and total station equipment before being post-processed using software packages such as N4CE and AutoCAD/BricsCAD in both 2D and 3D.
Skills Required:
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills, use of IT packages such as BricsCAD or AutoCAD would be an advantage
- The ability to prioritise & meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel long distances and work away from home
- Full UK Driving License is essential
- Current enhanced DBS desirable
